Student-Athlete · PSAL Wrestling Champion · 4× Team Captain

About

I'm a student-athlete from (City, State) and the (Year) PSAL Wrestling Champion in the (weight class) division. For four consecutive seasons I've served as captain of the girls varsity wrestling team at (High School Name), and I also train and compete with the boys varsity team to push my limits every day.

What I've learned on the wrestling mat — discipline, resilience, and the responsibility of leading others — shapes everything I do off it. I tutor English Language Learners preparing for New York State Regents exams, assist my math teacher with classroom instruction, and help run my family's business after school. Wrestling taught me how to lose, get up, and try again. Service taught me why it's worth doing.

Inspiring and driven beyond words.

Wrestling is the center of my life. I compete year-round, train across both girls and boys varsity programs, and lead my team as a four-time captain. Winning the PSAL Championship in (Year) was the result of years of early mornings, weight management, and learning from every loss. I plan to continue wrestling at the collegiate level.
